Consular and Immigration Information There is a waiting period of seven (7) working days for processing and issuance of most documents. In addition, it takes three (3) months or more to receive a new Liberian passport. To expedite most processes within 24 hours, an additional $50.00 per document will be charged. Payment to services are to be made by cash, money order, cashier's check or corporate check payable to the Liberian Consulate General in New York, NY. Note: No Credit/Debt Cards or Personal Checks are accepted. All processing fees(s) are NON-REFUNDABLE. Non-Contagious Disease Certificate 6. Passport or Alien Card of the Deceased 7. Non-Contraband Letter 8. Flight information (Name of Airline, Flight Number, Date and Time of Departure/Arrival, Name, Address and Telephone Number of Shipping Funeral Home, and Name, Address and Telephone Number of receiving Funeral Homes. 9. The Casket should be sealed, Airtight, and Water-resistant and lined. 10. Embalmer must come in at the Consulate in person with his/her License ID to sign documents. 11.
